A grand opening and dedication ceremony for the Advanced Imaging Suite and Emergency Department is Friday afternoon for Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Click to hear KMZUs John Chojnicki talk with Spokesperson Shannon Jordan:
“We wanted to bring magnetic resident imaging (MRI) on site,” explained Jordan. “We physically had no space, so to do that we had to move the lab and build out the Imaging Suite.” Upgrades to the Emergency Department were also made.
The parking lot in front of the emergency entrance will hold the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony at noon. A free barbacue lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. The public will be welcomed to a free tour of the new facilities following the festivities. The project was fully self funded by the hospital.
