Carrollton’s annual Band Day is just around the corner, and with the day that brings all those visitors to town, comes the Fall Festival! Click here to listen to KMZU’s Kristie Cross speak with Sharon Metz, Area Economical Alliance Director.

Sharon Mets

This is the busiest day of the year for Carrollton and a booth on the square means great business for anyone. “I’ve said before that this is the one time I can guarantee that there will be at 7000-8000 people in town. So its a great time, we run the trolley car all day long back and forth from our downtown square out to the football field. so it’s a wonderful event.” Said Mets “We pretty much take all kinds of booths. Crafts, arts, informational booths and that sort of thing plus some food booths. The booths are $35 that’s all they cost and we get to set up before 8:00 a.m. before the first band marches and we are usually through by 3:00 p.m.”

Groups or individuals interested in having a booth during this ever more populating event, are encouraged to fill out the application within the month. “If Interested they can call the office at 660-542-0922 or they can e-mail me at [email protected] and I will e-mail the application back. The information is also on our Facebook and our website.” Metz said “We try to cut off the applications by the Wednesday the week of, so it’ll be the 24th. But there are plenty of spaces and I will tell you that we will have several people there that will help you get on the square in your space and help you get set up by 8.”
