A scheduling change has been made to a pair of Carrollton events. For the first time ever, Carrollton’s much-anticipated Band Day and Fall Festival are going to be jam-packed into one weekend. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with Executive Director Sharon Metz:
According to Metz, they plan to use the entire downtown area. “We’re really excited about the possibility of doing this for the first time and putting these two major events together. Band Day has been existence for more than 30 years. We think it will be a win for everyone.”
“We’ve got a full lineup for the 5 to 6-thousand people we expect to attend,” added Metz. “They march on Saturday morning on two sides of the square and the festival will be set up on the opposites sides. We certainly have an option to go one more block north and east, if necessary.”
The Carrollton Band Day and Fall Festival are going to be held on the 24th of September.
Each booth costs $50.
