Carrollton’s new Superintendent will be present for the first Board of Education meeting in his new role Tuesday night. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Superintendent John Oettinger:
A light agenda is planned for Tuesday’s meeting. Oettinger said they have consent agenda items, a couple reports to the board, the back-to-school staff member meeting orientation meetings, and a summer school report. They will also consider some issues to close out the fiscal year.
“The final budget revisions for last year, the transfer of funds,” said Oettinger, “For example, covering teacher’s salaries, a lot of times you’ll have to transfer general funds to the teacher’s fund to cover those salaries.”
That meeting gets underway at 7:00 in the Administrative building.
