Carrollton City Clerk Dana Reimer swore in newly elected Ward IV Councilman Duane Griffin during the Monday night meeting.

During the Monday night meeting the Carrollton City Council swore in newly elected Ward IV representative Duane Griffin.  Following the brief ceremony members set to work approving a couple budget items.

Council members selected a lease-purchase agreement to acquire a new lawnmower.  Mayor Kim McAuliffe says the lease to purchase agreement will some flexibilty for future council members.

The council also approved the purchase of overhead doors.  McAuliffe says the doors are part of a renovation project on an old Phillips 66 building.

Currently sewer and lawn equipment are stored in the city’s street shed.  The equipment will be relocated to the new facility when the renovation project is complete.
