The Carrollton City Council met in regular session Monday evening with a light agenda though there was one item that did require action by council. It revolved around the rental of an events center for a temporary gathering of women selling different wares and according to Councilman Frank Olvera of Ward III, there was a problem.

There was also the acceptance of a bid for the installation and replacement of heating and AC units at the police station and animal control office.  The contract was awarded to Northtowne Appliance for three units at $575 each.
