CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. – A Carrollton, Mo. couple arrested at the end of September on felony drug allegations appeared in court last week and are due back soon.

Lesa Maria Zamarripa Cardenas, 32, and Roger Cardenas, 41, were taken into custody after a search warrant was executed at a residence on Main Street and officers recovered narcotics and paraphernalia.

The couple is charged with five felony counts of Possession Of A Controlled Substance, two misdemeanor counts of Unlawful Use Of Drug Paraphernalia and one misdemeanor count of Marijuana Possession each.

Bond remains at $25,000 for each defendant. They waived preliminary hearings on Oct. 5th and are set to appear in court Tuesday at 9 a.m.
