Burger said they would like to form several small groups to help with the event.  “We want to have a committee solely for the Spooktacular and one for the Trail of Fears.  We are also planning on having a haunted-theme 5K.  We will have games, vendors, and free hay maze for the kids.  If you don’t want to join a committee, but you have a skill such as carpentry that help is greatly appreciated.  We are also looking for ‘scaracters.’  Anyone interested in donating their time and talents should contact us.”

The Halloween Spooktacular event takes place on Oct. 25 and 26.  An informational meeting is being held Wednesday in conjunction with the Carrollton Area Economic Alliance’s monthly roundtable sessions.  The Spooktacular meeting gets underway at 6:30 p.m. in the basement of the Carrollton Library.
