The gymnasium lighting project was approved at Tuesday night’s Board of Education meeting in Carrollton. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade speak with Superintendent John Oetinger:
New lights will be installed at the High School and Middle School gymnasium. “I can just tell from the existing lighting it’s been quite some time,” said Oetinger.
The project is expected to cost about $14,800 and take 45 days to complete.
The district auditor gave a presentation, and the Board approved the most recent audit results. “There were a couple very minor findings that we’ve actually started to address already in the District.”
The Board also approved the purchase of a utility tractor. They formerly used this type of equipment on a lease.
