Children of all ages are invited to stop by the Carrollton library Saturday morning.  Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with Carrollton Public Library Director Sue Lightfoot:

Sue Lightfoot

Lightfoot says they’ve split the area surrounding the facility into little parcels to be decorated with chalk as a part of Family Fun Day.  The library will provide the materials, so all the kids, young and young-at-heart, need to provide is the imagination. The event starts at 9:00 a.m.

Lightfoot says the library has been participating in Carrollton’s yearly Fall Festival for some time and was excited to have an opportunity to provide an opportunity again this year.  The Chamber of Commerce moved up the Fall Festival to coincide with Carrollton Band Day two weeks ago.

A “spooky” story time will follow the decorating session at 10:00.  A Halloween craft will be provided for those in attendance.
