CARROLLTON, Mo. – The City Council of Carrollton will sit down for a regular session Monday evening, February 5, 2018.

New business on the agenda includes the possible adoption of three bills. One would repeal a section of code related to election activities, another would add sections to an article in regards to rental properties, plus, another ordinance related to inspection fees will be discussed and possibly adopted.

Police Chief Robert Turner will also report on the Carrollton Memorial Airport and reports will also be heard from the wastewater supervisor.  Another ordinance, related to a lease agreement with Foley Equipment to purchase a skid steer, will also be heard.

Other official reports will be heard from the fire and police chiefs and Administrative Assistant Terry Bell.

The Mayor’s report will include discussion related to a university extension board appointment and the power plant upgrade loan related to CMU and CCTC.

Council will gather in chambers at 6 p.m. at Carrollton City Hall, 206 West Washington.
