During the Tuesday night meeting Carrollton board members heard several end of year reports including results of the annual audit. Superintendent Judith Delaney says the process offers a thorough review of the school system.
According to Delaney the results were positive with only one specific place in need of modification…
In other updates board members learned more about the Positive Behavior Support program (P.B.S.) which is used in grades five through eight. Delaney says PBS has had a tremendous impact when comparing the first of half of last school year to the current semester.
The Career Center has also shown an uptick in retention. According to Delaney the center offers several school-to-work programs that are enhanced with core lessons.
The Carrollton School district will release students early Friday (Dec. 16) for the Christmas break. Classes will resume on Monday, January 2, 2012.
