CHARITON COUNTY, Mo. — The preliminary hearing in a Chariton County drug case has been continued to August.
At the hearing Tuesday morning for 20-year-old Jayden R. Lewis, of Keytesville, the court continued the case to 10:00 a.m. on 13 August.
Lewis and 20-year-old James M. Calvert were each charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after authorities looking for a missing juvenile observed drug paraphernalia in their apartment.
Lewis is also charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance in a protected location.
