PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Sedalia man, accused in a 2014 robbery and shooting, had his case continued Wednesday in Pettis County.

The trial setting for Henry L. Ward, 19, has been placed on the docket for 8:00 a.m. on January 17th. Ward, who was a juvenile at the time, is alleged to have shot the owner of the Gold Buyer, Wesley E. Brown, during the robbery on December 18, 2014. Brown survived being shot in the chest during the robbery. Ward is charged with first degree robbery, first degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and receiving stolen property.

Timothy L. Peck, 27, is charged with first degree robbery and hindering a prosecution for his part in the robbery.
