RAY COUNTY, Mo. — An Orrick resident facing several felony drug charges in Ray County had his preliminary hearing postponed Tuesday morning.
The court continued a felony count of delivery of a controlled substance, two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia in a case against Ricardo D. Carrasco, 22.
A surety bond will also be allowed on the $50,000 bond set by the court. Carrasco was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Taylor Heavelow, 25, of Rayville, that was stopped for speeding on New Year’s Eve 2018.
Both were charged after black tar heroin, methamphetamine and other paraphernalia was allegedly found in their possession.
Carrasco is scheduled to be back in court on Tuesday, April 9.
