Cody Bergman, 14, is scheduled to appear before a judge on Wednesday morning.  The Sedalia resident is facing charges of  1st degree murder and armed criminal action after he allegedly shot and murdered his step-father, William Capps, 41, in April of last year.  A mental examination was recently completed, but the results have not yet been released.  The case review is scheduled to get underway at 8:00 a.m. in a Pettis County courtroom.
