JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – Two occupants of an ATV were injured in a rollover accident in Johnson County Sunday afternoon.
A report by Highway Patrol states the crash on 600 Road at Route MM caused serious injuries to a Lee’s Summit resident, Roxane Cox, 55. The report indicates Cox, was ejected after the driver, Jeffrey Halterman of Warsaw, 57, lost control of the vehicle. Halterman was partly ejected and moderately injured. Both occupants were transported to Research Hospital by emergency responders. Halterman was also arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated as a persistent offender. He was released to receive medical treatment.
