INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – Prosecutors have charged the driver of a vehicle the fled from police Friday and was involved crash that killed four.

Victoria M. Brown, 24, of Kansas City has been charged with three counts of second degree murder and resisting a lawful stop. Police say they attempted to stop the Jeep being driven by Brown, because it had been reported stolen. Brown fled into Kansas City, where she struck a Dodge car at 23rd and Television Place. Two occupants of the Dodge were killed instantly and one died at a local hospital. A passenger in Brown’s vehicle also died at the scene.

Four people, including Brown, received serious injuries.
