Three law enforcement agencies teamed up early Saturday morning for a drug bust in Chariton County.

The North Missouri Drug Task Force and the Chariton County Sheriff’s Department executed two search warrants in the 34 thousand block of west Highway 24 in Salisbury.

They were assisted in that investigation by the Columbia Police Department Narcotic/Vice Unit.

Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and items commonly used for the sale and manufacture of meth were seized in two separate homes.

A pair of white males were taken to the Chariton County Sheriff’s Department where they are in custody awaiting the filing of formal charges.  Their names have not yet been released.
