RAY COUNTY, Mo. – A woman accused of 22 counts of child abuse or neglect is going to have supervised visitation with her own children in the future.
At a criminal setting scheduled Wednesday for Melissa Ann Holloway, 26, of Rayville, the court took up a motion to amend the bond conditions for Holloway. Despite the objection of the Prosecuting Attorney, the judge ordered supervised visits and phone calls with Holloway’s two children. Holloway, who is also charged with hindering a felony prosecution and tampering with a victim in a felony prosecution, is accused of ignoring the mental and physical abuse of a 9 year old victim by her boyfriend, Mario Barreto, in Camden.
The criminal setting was rescheduled for March 6.
