It’s time to try a new idea in Chilhowee – the Fair Board is putting together a pumpkin patch.
Click to hear KMZU’s Chris Clift talk with Chilhowee Fair Board Fundraiser Chairperson Misty Miller:
The pumpkin patch will be available Saturday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The Nace Brothers will also be playing at the Chilhowee Community Center Saturday night from 8 p.m. – midnight.
It will be located at 365 SW 2 Highway just outside Chilhowee. That is approximately four miles west of Highway 13 and two miles east of Chilhowee on Highway 2.
Admission will be $7 for adults, children three and up are $4 and ages two and under are free. That admission price includes a hayride and a number of family activities.
Miller says they will also have pumpkins for sale. Those prices will be based on size, with a wide variety to choose from.
