KMZU’s Kristie Cross spoke with Wilma Hill who is with the Chilhowee Fair about this year’s festivities.
While the corn hole tournament was on Thursday evening, there is still plenty of fun left on Friday and Saturday. The main events happening on Friday include games and entertainment in the the downtown area in the afternoon, carnival rides will open around 6:00 p.m. and the Queen Contests will start at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The categories for the queens include Wee Queen, Junior Miss Queen and High School Queen.
On Saturday morning you can take in the youth livestock show or register for the baby show or the grand parade. The baby show starts at 9:30 a.m. and the parade kicks off at noon. After getting your fill from vendors, games and carnival rides in the afternoon you can dance the night away to the music of the Nace Brothers Band whose performance starts at 9:00 p.m.
