The Chillicothe City Council is holding a regular meeting Tuesday. During the open session, the Finance Chairman will provide a presentation and ask for approval of invoices and payroll. A public hearing will then be held to consider an ordinance to re-zone the Youssef Subdivision from R-1 to C-1. City Administrator Ike Holland will make an appearance. He will be requesting the use of two more parking lots for the Slice Bread Jam Bluegrass Festival on June 5th, and he will also ask that water and sewer be connected to a resident’s property. Street Commissioner Barry Arthur will also be in attendance. He will discuss an Ordinance regarding the placement of two new yield signs in the city. One sign is to be placed at the intersection of Oaklawn and Ridgcrest Drive, the other at the intersection of Mc Vey and Eleventh Street. The Council will then move into Executive Session to discuss Litigation, Real Estate and Personnel matters. Following the closed meeting, council will adjourn. The meeting is being held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
