CHILLICOTHE, Mo. — A council workshop will precede a meeting of the Chillicothe City Council Monday night.
An agenda indicates that a council workshop will be held before the meeting to discuss city finances.
During the regular meeting, a report from the finance chairperson will be heard. Appearances from city officials will include discussion about the cat sanctuary building at the Chillicothe Animal Shelter. Ordinances will be considered regarding an easement to Sonoco and a bond compliance agreement as well.
City Administrator Darin Chappell will then lead discussion about a contract for engineering services for railroad bridge repairs, an ordinance regarding an industrial park farm ground contract and ordinances regarding a pair of maintenance issues with MoDOT.
Comments from the mayor and council will then be heard before the Council adjourns to an executive session.
The Chillicothe City Council workshop is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday with the regular meeting following an hour later, at 6:30 p.m.
