A public hearing on the City Budget will be held in Chillicothe Monday evening.  Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with City Administrator Ike Holland:

Ike Holland

Council expects Council to adopt the budget after the hearing ends.  The 2013/2014 budget is mostly flat, with a two percent negative growth in tax revenue expected in some areas.  Holland said most services in the community will remain the same, but the City will not see much growth in its departments.

Council will also discuss a CDBG Demolition Grant and a police (traffic) grant.

They meet at 6:30 in Council Chambers.  Before their regular session, Council is scheduled for a site visit to Chilli Bay at 5:00, followed by a workshop on the Water Park at 5:30.
