Two Chillicothe residents have endowed a North Central Missouri College Scholarship for students pursuing degrees in Agriculture or Natural Resources. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Paul Steele:
Steele and his wife, Betty Preston Steele, feel passionately about both agriculture and education. “We just have followed education all our lives and agriculture is really important, not only to us but to North Missouri,” said Steele, “We had an opportunity to endow this and we were pleased to have the opportunity to do so.”
Steele said two scholarships worth $350 each will be issued each year. He said they chose NCMC because it is local.
