CHILLICOTHE, Mo – Chillicothe firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle fire at around 6:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, June 13, 2016.

A 2003 Ford Taurus was found fully engulfed in flame near the intersection of 65 Highway and 36 Highway.  According to fire officials, the flame was moving toward the engine compartment.

After approximately 20 minutes, the blaze was extinguished.

The owner of the vehicle, Sarah Washam of Tina, as well as other occupants, were uninjured.

The car, which had also been involved in a crash with another vehicle, suffered extensive damage.
