CHILLICOTHE, MO – A Chillicothe man is to be sentenced Tuesday for murder.

Court documents indicate Shawn Yuille pleaded guilty in April 2019 as part of a plea deal with prosecutors. Yuille pleaded guilty to 2nd degree murder in causing the death of Danette Rardon, November 2017. Yuille was reportedly inhaling compressed air before his pickup collided with vehicle driven by Rardon. A child in Yuille’s vehicle was also seriously injured. Prosecutors recommended a 20 – year sentence in exchange for the plea.

A seven-year sentence for child endangerment would be served concurrently. The hearing is at 2 p.m.
