CHILLICOTHE, MO – Auditing services for Chillicothe have been secured for the near future.
During a regular meeting of Chillicothe city officials, a contract was approved that would extended auditing services. The contract with the firm could also be extended for two additional years. City auditor, Theresa Kelly, reminded council of her scheduled departure from the position. Administrator, Darin Chappel reiterated the point that replacing both a city auditor, and an outside auditing service would be problematic.
A scheduled discussion of marijuana laws was tabled before a closed session, to be taken up next meeting.
During announcements, prior councilmen were remembered.
