imagesTwo Chillicothe residents have been charged with first-degree felony endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the St. Joseph News Press, Daniel Schliessman III, 45, and Michelle Schliessman, 36, were charged after their autistic 14-year-old child was found naked running in a city street on Sunday. Several calls were received by Chillicothe police regarding children reportedly running across a major roadway near the National Guard Armory.

Additional charges were brought against Michelle Schliessman for possession of a controlled substance after methamphetamine was found in the family home.  All four of the children have been taken to the Department of Family Services. The Schliessman couple has been taken into custody. Daniel Schliessman is being held on a $25,000 bond, and Michelle is being held on a $50,000 bond.
