The Chillicothe City Council will gather Monday at 6:30 p.m. for a regular meeting. The agenda consists of three Public hearings regarding properties in the city. The first consideration will be an ordinance to change zoning from C-1 to I-1 at 73 Cherry Street. The voluntary annexation of 219 East Polk, 1301 West Cherokee, and 1309 West Cherokee will also be considered. An appearance will be made by City Administrator Ike Holland to discuss several ordinances and two projects at Simpson Park. Jason Benson will also go before council to request approval for the SALT organization to use Chilli Bay as a fundraising opportunity. The final discussion will be the recommendation from the City Administrator to hire 7 new paid by call firefighters for the city.  Following the open meeting, council members will move into Executive Session.
