This is is an annual fundraiser for the center. “The angels are used to honor the memory of loved ones that people may have lost over the past year or years,” said Epperson.

All proceeds go to the Hospice Memorial Fund.

“The funds are used to assist patients that perhaps do not have insurance coverage and would like to be part of the hospice program. Or perhaps they need medication or supplies that are not covered by their insurance. The memorial funds are also used as an educational tool for the staff.”

The angels went on sale Friday and cost $8 a piece.
