The Marshall City Council accepted bids for providing lawn services for the community at their regular meeting Monday night.
Click to hear KMZU’s Brad Hartman talk with Marshall City Administrator Connie Latimer:
Latimer says they get regular reports daily on overgrown lawns and police along with other city employees keep a look out for overgrown yards in the community.
Latimer encourages everyone in the community to take care of their property before tickets and fines are involved.
Council also gave promotions to three city police officers and they did an annual approval of liquor licenses.
