A Macon County resident is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon. 21-year-old Teresa Smith has been charged for endangering the welfare of a child after she was accused of actively participating in the use of methamphetamine with a juvenile. According to online documents, she, along with Bevier residents Michael Coons and Jessica Shoemaker were booked on charges in mid-September.  Both Smith and Shoemaker are accused of active participation in the use of methamphetamine with a juvenile while Coons is charged with rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

 

Smith will appear in court this afternoon at 2:30 in a Macon county circuit courtroom in Macon.
