The Clay County Sheriff’s Department has reopened southbound Interstate 35 at 92 Highway. A tweet from the Sheriff’s Department says a K-9 unit indicated on a suspected vehicle at that location. No explosives were found in the vehicle and the interstate is open to traffic.
CLAY COUNTY, Mo. – A KMZU listener called to advise us that southbound Interstate 35, South of the Kearney exit has been closed by law enforcement.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Department has tweeted that they are investigating the threat of an explosive device. Again I-35 southbound, South of 92 highway will be closed for about 30 minutes more. We will bring you an update when it becomes available.
