Clifford Leon Imgarten, 82, of Salisbury, MO, died Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Glasgow Gardens.

Clifford was born in rural Salisbury on February 22, 1937 the son of Herbert W. and Alvena Maria (Linneman) Imgarten. He married Maxine Speiser on April 21, 1956 at Salem Lutheran Church.

Clifford was a graduate of Keytesville High School, Class of 1955. He was a lifelong farmer. He was a manager and 40 year agent for Forest Green Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. He was a lifelong member of the Salem Lutheran Church, serving on many Church boards during his membership. Clifford served on the Keytesville R-III School board for 2 terms. He enjoyed boating, skiing and spending time with family at Lake Nehai.

Clifford is survived by his wife Maxine, three son’s Barry (Debbie) Imgarten of Salisbury, MO, Dale (Carla) Imgarten of Moberly, MO, Dave (Barbara) Imgarten of Salisbury, MO, sister’s Gladys Kendrick Moore of Moberly, MO, Inez Johnson of Marceline, MO, brother-in-law Willis Speiser of Salisbury, sister-in-law Dorothy (Jerry) Weiseman of Salisbury, six grandchildren; Jeff (Meagan) Imgarten, Casey (Vicki) Imgarten, Dustin (Jill) Imgarten, Christi (John) McNail, Kyle Imgarten, Andrew Imgarten, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother’s-in-law Donald Kendrick, Rush Johnson, Jesse “Bob” Moore, Howard Speiser, and sister-in-law Olivia Speiser.

Visitation is Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 4-7:00 p.m., at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Visitation is Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 10-11:00 a.m., with services following at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem Lutheran Church in Forest Green, MO. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salem Lutheran Cemetery or the Howard County Hospice
