CLINTON COUNTY, Mo. — Two vehicles collided Wednesday morning on 69 Highway in Clinton County.

A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that the crash happened at around 7:07 a.m. Wednesday as a car driven by Kearney resident Cheyenne A. Ellis, 22, was northbound on US Highway 69 crossing Missouri Highway 116 when she drove into the path of a westbound vehicle, operated by John H. Deis, 69, of Kingston.

Deis’ vehicle then traveled off the south side of the roadway and rolled several times before coming to rest on its top in a creek bed.

Deis was not injured when his vehicle overturned.

Ellis sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital by ambulance to receive treatment for her injuries.
