CLINTON COUNTY, Mo. – A deputy in Clinton County has been discharged after allegations of misconduct with an inmate.
Clinton County Sheriff Larry Fish released a statement Friday saying that the Missouri Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control informed his office about the complaint. The deputy was immediately placed on administrative leave and has since been terminated. The Inmate has been transferred out of the Clinton County Jail and is safe.
The Sheriff has asked the Division of Drug and Crime Control to lead the investigation.
