The American Legion and Auxiliary will be serving a home style dinner on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Legion Building in Cole Camp. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $8 or at the door for $9, children 6-12 are $3 and preschoolers can eat for free.
The meal consists of roast beef, ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, green beans, homemade bread, hot German potato salad, Cole slaw and all the pie and cake you can eat. Just come hungry!
“This supper has been going on for 40 to 50 years and it helps us send boys to state,” stated Commander Wagner. “We are involved with the Food Pantry too and we help other organizations.”
They are having a drawing for a Remington 700 30-06 rifle with a Nikon 3.9 x 40 scope. The drawing will take place that night and you do not need to be present to win, Commander Wagner says if they have a phone number, they can contact you.
Tickets can be purchased from any Post 305 member, Dean’s Barber Shop, Mora Lumber Co., Heet Gas Co, Heimsoth Feeds, or see Terry at Ionia MFA.
