CASS COUNTY, Mo. — A Denver, Colorado resident faces charges stemming from an incident back in 2016.

According to a probable cause statement, on March 15, 2016 officers stopped a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle, 37-year-old Brian R. Driscoll allegedly became nervous during the incident and denied a search of the vehicle. A K-9 unite was dispatched for a refusal search.

The K-9 search revealed six large bags of marijuana, each weighing one pound along with over $3,500 in cash. Officers seized the drugs and money and Driscoll was placed under arrest.

Driscoll is charged with felony attempt to distribute, deliver, manufacture, or produce a controlled substance, classified as a felony B.
