COOPER COUNTY, Mo. — A man has posted bond after he was arrested during a traffic stop Monday morning.

An officer stopped a vehicle driven by Eddie Sigmon, 31, of Colorado, after he was seen driving on the shoulder of the road on Interstate 70 near Boonville.

During the traffic stop, law enforcement smelled the odor of marijuana. Sigmon admitted to having nearly 30 lbs of the drug in his vehicle, but did not provide any details as to where he was taking it. Officers also found over $3,000 in the vehicle after a consented search.

He is formally charged with a felony delivery of a controlled substance. No future court cases are scheduled.
