JEFFERSON CITY, Mo— A Columbia, Missouri duo is facing heavy charges after pleading guilty to one count each of conspiracy to distribute heroin.orland-possession-of-heroin-lawyers-u3344

As stated in court documents, 20 year old Alec Matthew Ell sold heroin during July of 2014 multiple times to undercover agents.

During one of the transactions, Ell’s 20 year old girlfriend, Angelica Melanie Polston, participated in the sale of a half gram of heroin.

In October of 2014, Ell led officers on a short foot chase before being apprehended.

If convicted, the couple will spend anywhere from a minimum of 5 years in federal prison to a maximum of 40 years with up to $5,000,000 in fines.
