BOONE COUNTY, Mo. — The Boone County Sheriff’s Department says buildings at a Columbia elementary school were burglarized in the early morning hours of Friday, August 25.

Two Mile Prairie Elementary School (CPS)

Authorities say four classroom trailers were broken into at Two Mile Prairie Elementary School on North Route Z in Columbia.

Upon arrival at the scene just before 6:45 a.m. on August 25, investigators found that the electrical copper wiring had been stripped in three of the trailers. Staff said educational aides were taken as well as camera and electronic equipment.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is offering a reward for anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.
