COLUMBIA, Mo. — A Columbia man has pleaded guilty to methamphetamine distribution Monday.

According to federal prosecutors Brian Keith Davis, 55, pleaded guilty to the distribution scheme, and possession of a weapon in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Police say an investigation commenced following the shooting of another man at Davis’ residence. A search revealed over two thousand grams of methamphetamine, and over one thousand grams of cocaine.

A sentencing hearing, yet to be determined, will determine punishment from a range of 15 years minimum, to life without parole in prison.
