The Carroll County Commissioners held their final session of the month Friday morning. Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with Carroll County Presiding Commissioner Nelson Heil:
Heil says they had a very light agenda. The commission signed off on payroll for the month and looked at upcoming meetings in October. On Monday, Pat McAtee from the Carroll County Health Department will pay a visit to the commission. According to Heil, McAtee plans on presenting changes in the fee schedule for certain services in order to prevent losing money.
In other commission business, County Clerk Peggy McGaugh visited the Tina Community Center to check on the progress of ramps being installed by the county. The ramps were funded by a federal election grant awarded back in late July in order to bring the site into A.D.A. compliance for upcoming elections. Heil says the concrete was poured earlier this week and that adding hand rails is the final step in the project.
