CONCORDIA, MO – A meeting of Concordia Aldermen Monday night ratified a bill concerning medical marijuana.

The ordinance that passed contained language limiting where medical marijuana may be sold or dispensed. None of the buildings may be located within one thousand feet of schools, churches, or day care centers.

The issue had been brought up during a public hearing of a Planning and Zoning meeting November 7. There was no public attendance.

The ordinance passed by the Alderman board was unanimous.
