Click to hear KMZU’s Ashley Johnson speak with City Administrator Dale Klussman:
The Concordia Board of Alderman gave approval this week for a contract with Spray Com out of Knob Noster for upcoming repair work. “We have a manhole that needs to be repaired,” said Klussman, “We had contacted multiple companies and they were the only ones to respond. Their bid is $2,150 and that is for one fiberglass manhole liner, as well as the concrete and everything it takes for the repair.”
Increases in pay were also approved for employees who have recently received higher certificate in water distribution and the board agreed to the purchase of a new ice maker at the community center at the cost of $2100.
