The Concordia Board of Aldermen heard a discussion involving the collection of the community’s tourism tax at their regular meeting on Monday night.

Klussman says, “The discussion should have cleared some things up such as late penlites and not to accept cash only for the tax.”

Other items discussed include work to be done on the booster station and the purchase of a sonic device to aid in algae control in the city’s waste water lagoon.

The board also discussed work to be done on the Community Center’s HVAC units as well.
