The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed during their meeting Monday night what to do about a cable line that was cut by a city crew installing a water line.  The line was not known to even exist, and had not been marked prior to digging in that area, like other lines were.  City Administrator Dale Klussman says the board decided that since their insurance company says they aren’t at fault, they decided to do nothing at this time.

In other business, the board voted to send a letter of intent to apply for the Missouri Main Street Program’s Affiliate Grant, and the city will begin the process of renaming “Northwest 8th Street Court,” to prevent any further confusion with Northwest 8th Street.
