LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. — Two Concordia residents were injured after an ice-related crash Wednesday morning.
At 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle driven by Carol Bishop, 62, was westbound on I-70 — near the 41.2 mile marker — when the ice-covered roadway caused the vehicle to lose control and slide off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck an embankment.
Bishop and her passenger, 76-year-old Steve Bishop, received minor injuries in the collision.
They were treated at Research Main Hospital in Kansas City.
